Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
