Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Prince George's County, Maryland. You will be based in a refurbishment property. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • CSCS card or willing to obtain one The role involves: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
