Production welder • Saline County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Saline County, Kansas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
