Bulldozer operator — Borough of Swindon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Borough of Swindon, England. You will be based on a quarry floor. On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
