Reinforcement steel fixer — Chester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Chester County, Pennsylvania. You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
