Immediate opening: steel fixer (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Hardin County, Iowa. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
