Bench joiner wanted in Pitt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bench joiner in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
