Great opportunity: we are hiring a car mechanic in Washington County, Missouri. The job is in a fleet maintenance depot. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic Day-to-day duties: • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Carry out oil and filter changes • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Recharge and service the air-conditioning system 5+ years on the tools preferred.
