Gang bricklayer wanted in Thurston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Thurston County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $31 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
