Machinist wanted in Erie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Erie County, Ohio. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
