Render and set plasterer • Franklin County, Pennsylvania

Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 3+ years on the tools preferred.
