Pipe TIG welder wanted in Clinton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Clinton County, Illinois. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
