Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Gregg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Gregg County, Texas. The job is at a high-rise construction project. You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
