You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part.
