Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Socorro County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
