Reinforcement steel fixer • Daviess County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Daviess County, Missouri. The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
