Lift mechanic wanted in Borough of Tameside

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Borough of Tameside, England. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
