Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Henry County, Missouri. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish On the job you will handle: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
