Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sutton County, Texas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
