Press operator wanted in Allegany County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Allegany County, New York. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses.
