Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
