Bread and bun maker • Osage County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Osage County, Kansas. You will work at a cake shop. On a typical shift you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
