Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Wurno, Sokoto State. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
