Wood machinist — Decatur County

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Decatur County, Iowa. The job is at a shopfitting company. On the job you will handle: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience 6+ years on the tools preferred.
