Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cake decorator in Duplin County, North Carolina. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials.
