Kitchen steward wanted in McDonough County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in McDonough County, Illinois. You will work in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar What we are looking for: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
