We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Sully County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes The role involves cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site.
