Milling machinist — Medina County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Medina County, Texas. You will work in a CNC machining unit. You will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
