Trainee butcher wanted in Essex County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Essex County, Vermont. Day to day you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
