Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Elmore County, Idaho. The job is on an industrial construction site. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Meals and transport allowance provided.
