Chiller technician wanted in North Lanarkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a chiller technician in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is at a food processing plant. Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
