Gas pipeline fitter — Grand Isle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Grand Isle County, Vermont. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
