You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
