The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
