We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Wilkes County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks.
