Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Chase County, Kansas. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
