Lorry driver wanted in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a lorry driver in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a container freight yard. The role involves: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
