Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Teton County, Idaho. The job is at a land-clearing site. Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
