Urgent requirement: kitchenhand (Alabama)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Jefferson County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils Ideal candidate: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
