Kitchen steward — Glasscock County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Glasscock County, Texas. The job is in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Six days a week, one day off.
