Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Etung, Cross River State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions.
