Shuttering fixer — Sitka City and Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
