We are recruiting: site safety steward (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Richland Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
