Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Iosco County, Michigan. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
