Immediate opening: head baker (West Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Wetzel County, West Virginia. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
