Urgent requirement: we are hiring a general labourer in City of Hopewell, Virginia. You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Full-time, day shift.
