Urgent requirement: machinist (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Essex County, Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation.
