Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Dundy County, Nebraska. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day to day you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
