Shuttering charge hand wanted in Monroe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Monroe County, Iowa. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. On the job you will handle: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
