Spray painter (automotive) — DeKalb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in DeKalb County, Indiana. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE The role involves: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience.
